This app used to work flawlessly for me, but I now cannot get images to blend without the scaling majorly shifting. I tried reinstalling, restating my phone, checking for updates, etc., but I can’t get the app to work properly anymore. I thought the locking function would help, but even with images locked, everything shifts when I introduce another image or switch between the mask/blend functions. If this was something that could be fixed that would be excellent. I’ve recommended the app for years, and have vastly enjoyed it in the past. Now, however, it’s pointless to even try to use. It’s a major bummer.

I have loved this app for years, but now the bottom picture gets HUGE!!! Fix this, please.

Difficult to use! Not worth it!

This use to be my favorite image merge app. But for some reason it started to over scale any imported image. So you have no control of what you are blending anymore. I’ve tried to delete the app and re-download, no results. Really disappointing.

Perfect, simple, and quick. I love this app. Sadly bugs make it unusable since getting my 8+. Looking for alternatives. Or a bug fix...maybe?

I cannot save my work to my photo album my iPhone X or my iPad Pro. I could not find the app in my iPhone settings, so there was no way to permit it to access the photos.

Glitchy and doesn’t really work.

I love this app. This is a complaint. I’ve been using it for six years, and somehow it deleted my info, then asked me to purchase app, to which I had to delete it entirely in order to pay for it again so I can use it. That’s a shame. It’s doesn’t cost but there is a point up loyal and customer service. It’s very annoying as a solid customer who is supporting this app— there should be customer service on this type of stuff.

This app looks and feels top shelf and Photoshop layer-like, but for the life if me I can't find a way to delete a layer. 😣😳 May I ask someone to help? Once I figure this out, there will be no stopping me. I'm a photo and filter junkie - can't get enough.

I have been using his app for a couple of years now and it is honestly amazing.

This was my favorite app by far until I updated it and it disappeared! If you can't fit ios8 on iPad you're doomed! DONT UPDATE! -------------------------------------- It's 3-4 months later and I got Layover back. I'm an artist and lately I've done zillions of photo manipulations. I LOVE this app. I haven't found another app that comes close to the things this app does. How can I share my work with you and other like minded individuals? Bob

As a glitch artist, I use a lot of apps, and Layover is part of my main 4-5 apps. I use it every day. It it has a simple-to-use and intuitive interface and allows you to blend up to 4 images in a variety of ways, in several orientations/sizes. One can easily rearrange and resize the blended components and see immediate, high-quality results. To me, it's a must have app. The developer team is also quick with support and wonderfully responsive. That's not true of every developer, by any means, as those of us who rely on good apps for our art and frequently contact developers with questions or comments know. These folks, by contrast, respond quickly, when there is any glitch, fixing it swiftly and cheerfully. I highly recommend them and congratulate them on a great update. If you enjoy blending images, you won't be disappointed by what these good folks have made--and continue to remake with helpful updates.

This is the perfect app for Instagram contests. Very easy to use!

The app keeps crashing an kicking me off..

I love this app! Love love love- I have nothing bad to say.

Doesn't function at all. Crashes every single time you attempt to load an image. Frustrating waste of time and space. Bad app!

when I try to pick a photo it crashes every single time

App refuses to import or take photos since my ios8 update. Fix it please, this app is fun to fool around with.

Since the new upgrade ios8 I can not use my photos nor camera on the iPad. This was a wonderful program and I actually have taught my autistic son how to use it. Please fix it as soon as possible. Thanks marvin

updated to IOS8, no longer able to use....unable to import pics, lost all functionality

Today's update 9/25/14 totally made it impossible to load images for bending! The biggest problem with the app when you can actually load images for bending is that unless you load images that are square and the same size getting images to line up is almost impossible which makes it unusable for many images! I have used other blending apps which seem to automatically line up and size images! The app has a nice modern design and if you have square same size images it does a pretty good job blending images although depending on ipad orientation some choices are off the screen! It could be my go to app if these problems were fixed!

LOVED the app before the iOS 8 update. Hoping there's a bug fix soon. I use this app quite a lot to edit pictures.

It worked perfectly with iOS 7 but with iOS 8 it doesn't allow you to add another layer😡

My favorite app is no longer Working

I really could use this app and I'm sure it was great before iOS 8 however you can't add another layer. It keeps bringing up an all black screen that you can do anything with when you attempt to add a second layer. Not happy with the app and I just bought it. :(

I've spent over a year finding an app that can do what Layover does. It's perfect for visual artists to figure out possible compositions using multiple images. I love the simplicity of this app. It's a tad bit confusing at first and I'm still some of the functions as I go. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because I wish it had a feature to undo one thing at a time, rather than reverting back to the starting image. This would allow for greater nuance and control. I've already recommended this app to a few friends who love it. I'm sure this app will spread like wildfire when word gets out!

Great app. Love the developers but it's got glitches. Most of the time it won't rotate no matter how hard I try with two fingers. Also app shut down when I tried to upload straight to Tumblr which caused me to lose my design. Also I hope in the future it will support PNG's so I can insert my graphics that have a transparent background. That's why I'm using this app bit for now I can use blending techniques even though it's a long process and a pain. Looking forward to future updates.

This is a great app for overlaying images! I create graphics on the go and needed app to overlay my logo in the corner and this by FAR is the best app I've found. Controls were a bit difficult to figure and and there are a few bugs like freezing and slow to drag but I'm sure the developers will smooth them out. Not a bad app for $0.99!

Works and looks nice. A little confusing at first but actually very intuitive not long after.

Device info: iPhone 4S, 64GB, iOS 7.0.3, latest app version, August 2013, to date November 6, 2013: What bothers me about this app, although I will say it is AMAZING (as well as the rest of this dev's apps!!! They're ALL worth paying for!), it hasn't been updated since its inception, which was August 2012. There don't seem to be any issues with the app working as described, but it leaves me to wonder if that may be coming up in the very near future?

It's just ok, in my book. Nothing special...!!!! Have a lot of better apps downloaded than this one, that's for sure!!!! JiLL

Best layering app ever. You just need to mess around with it a bit to understand how to use it in the way you want it to😊

I keep trying to use and like Layover more. It's close to being a great app. I don't like that you can't pull your images back into lineup. I had a few really interesting images made only to discover one of the layers had slipped out of alignment and left a line which ruined it all. Until they make some improvements it's off my list. I'll keep it in case they do a big update.

Please fix the rotation bug, it fails a lot when I try to rotate an image on the canvas. It zooms the pic instead of rotating. This app is by far one of the best to make big compositions on photos. I love it, just fix that little bug.

1. UI is ugly and looks old 2. Using it to layer a watermark is dang near impossible. Layers cannot be resized to be small. You are limited in resizing. 3. You don't get your full image. Just a tiny middle portion. 4. Blending modes aren't clear. Hard to figure which layer is blending where and I have years of laying experience with photoshop.

I was very disappointed with this app. The quality of the blended image isn't very good and is certainly not like Photoshop in any way. Also, it takes a while to figure out how to navigate the dang thing.

Really bad doesn't allow u to download finish product... A tease lets u see how it might look but then nothing doesn't allow u to save or share

As far as flexibility, easy workflow and awesome results, lay0ver is the best. Recommend

Overall, after 15 minutes of playing with this app, I know it won't suit my needs. Sometimes when editing, your touch won't do anything. Also, what you see when editing will not be your final result. Unhappy with this purchase- do not recommend.

It takes a while to get the hang of but once you know how to use it you can do amazing things. There are a few minor errors but I just love this app.

I love photoshop, so I was extremely happy with this app. It would be nice if you could change the size of the Mask brush. Need to still figure out the crop button, but I just downloaded it and does a great job of doing what it says it does. Worth the money!

This is my favorite app! So easy to make interesting collages from my photos. The one thing I would wish for is the ability to make sharper edged masks - instead of the soft blending edges. That would make the app perfect! Thanks.

this is by far the best layover/superimpose app I've ever used! It deserves no less than 5 stars! AMAZING!

A little rough around the edges but the core function is solid. I don't need to do much in the way of mobile photo editing but this gets the job done. If you need later editing for your phone photos this is the app to get.
